JermarDerun creates to prove that passion and persistence matter more than natural talent. His art reflects the journey- from Memphis and Germany to Dallas-and explores abstract forms, wood, sculptures, resin, and electronics. With every piece,  JermarDerun pushes boundaries and express experiences that shaped him. "To know me is to feel my art"-and believe that hard work can outshine giftedness.

JermarDerun's artistic voice is shaped by a powerful blend of creativity, culture, and conviction. He draws influence from visionaries like Van Gogh, whose emotion lived in every brushstroke; Jean-Michel Basquiat, who turned raw expression into rebellion and truth; and Roy Lichtenstein, whose bold lines and pop-art sensibility taught JermarDerun the power of simplicity in storytelling. 

In addition to work as a visual artist, JermarDerun is building a legacy through entrepreneurship and storytelling. As the founder of JermarDerun Publishing Co.,  operating under JermarDerun LLC, where he releases works that reflect his voice, roots, and vision for the future. As an author of "BRUH" a raw-reflective men's journal full of powerful affirmations and "Kel", a series of books that promote household life-skills while crafted in entertaining, educating, and empowering the new generation.
